About Me

As a first-generation college student, I began my academic journey at The University of Alabama, where navigating independence and the challenges of an unfamiliar environment instilled in me a strong sense of discipline and resilience. My initial studies in criminal justice, coupled with active involvement in the Pre-Law Society and Criminal Justice Club, solidified my passion for pursuing a career in law. Seeking broader opportunities for academic and professional development, I transferred to Texas A&M University, where I now study sociology, history, and philosophy to strengthen my understanding of the social, historical, and ethical contexts that shape the legal system. My long-term goal is to attend law school and pursue criminal litigation, advocating for justice and accountability through fair and effective legal representation. Guided by my core values of integrity and advocacy, I carry with me Aristotle’s reminder that “The law is reason, free from passion,” as I prepare to dedicate my career to upholding the principles of justice.

Leadership

Leadership has become a central part of my college experience through my involvement in organizations, academics, and athletics. Serving as Vice President of Kappa Alpha Pi Pre-Law and Government Fraternity has strengthened my communication, organizational, and mentorship abilities while allowing me to support students pursuing careers in law and public service. In addition to leadership within organizations, I demonstrate leadership daily through collaboration, accountability, and setting high standards for myself academically and personally. My experiences have taught me how to lead with integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to supporting others.

Applied Education

My academic and extracurricular experiences have allowed me to apply classroom learning to real-world leadership and collaborative environments. Through honors programs, pre-law organizations, and peer-based academic settings, I have learned the importance of critical thinking, communication, and mentorship. I value opportunities to support and encourage others while continuing to grow myself intellectually. Whether through group collaboration, leadership initiatives, or professional development activities, I strive to apply my education in meaningful ways that promote growth, service, and lifelong learning.

Performance

As a member of the Texas A&M Cheer Squad, I have developed the ability to perform successfully in high-pressure environments that demand discipline, focus, and resilience. Our team practices nearly every day while balancing the rigorous demands of academics and campus involvement. Competing at the NCA College Nationals in Daytona Beach required intense preparation, teamwork, and composure under pressure to perform at a national level. Through these experiences, I have strengthened my time management skills, mental toughness, and ability to maintain confidence and precision in demanding situations.
